Pledge to Donate 100 Million Won
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Wi Woong, CEO of Bitgoeul Central Park, has become the 124th member of the Gwangju Honor Society.
On the 28th, according to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon), CEO Wi pledged 100 million KRW and joined the Honor Society.
At the joining ceremony, Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and CEO Wi's family attended and brightened the event.
CEO Wi stated, “I am proud to join the Honor Society, which leads the development of community welfare, and I will strive to create a happy Gwangju for everyone.”
Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea will work to ensure that CEO Wi Woong’s warm heart for the development of community welfare is well conveyed.”
Meanwhile, the Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors of the Community Chest of Korea that aims to solve community problems and promote the maturation of the donation culture to foster the development of the social community.
Members qualify by pledging a lump sum of 100 million KRW or agreeing to complete payment within five years, practicing noblesse oblige.
