Damyang Office of Education Holds Middle School Learning Welfare Realization Council Meeting
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang Office of Education announced on the 25th that it held a council on the 24th for realizing learning welfare in middle schools, attended by vice principals and staff in charge within the district.
This council was organized to share the analysis results of academic achievement status in middle schools within the district, discuss the connection between teaching, learning, and evaluation based on the achievement evaluation system, and explore measures to close the academic achievement gap in middle schools.
They also shared cases while listening to explanations from the vice principal about the academic improvement operation plan being implemented at Damyang Girls' Middle School.
A teacher who attended the council said, “Until now, the focus has been on rescuing students who fall below basic academic skills, but through discussions on the overall academic achievement analysis of middle school students, measures to close the academic gap, and sharing cases from middle schools in the district, a consensus and understanding for realizing learning welfare in middle schools could be enhanced.”
