The commemorative ceremony, held online due to the COVID-19 situation, began with a congratulatory speech by Yoon Jong-kyu, Chairman of KB Financial Group, followed by KB Insurance CEO Kim Ki-hwan presenting a rice cake, promising unwavering support to achieve the best performance in the second half of the year.
During the town hall meeting, employees had time to reflect on past achievements and their envisioned future through a quiz-style survey ranking show. Kim Dae-hyun, Vice President and CFO of KB Insurance’s Management Division, shared the company’s current management status and strategic directions.
CEO Kim discussed management philosophy and future vision with employees under the theme “Insurance beyond insurance made with No.1 DNA.” He reiterated the customer-centric approach, new market creation, digital innovation, field-oriented management, fair organizational culture, and accountability in decision-making, which have been pursued since his inauguration.
