Yeongam-gun to Create 'Resident-Led Festival'
Resident-Led Expert Training... Enhancing the Quality and Competitiveness of Local Festivals
[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Yeongam-gun (Governor Jeon Dong-pyeong) announced on the 23rd that it will operate a resident-led village tourism festival expert training course.
The resident-led village tourism festival expert training course is a program designed to cultivate experts equipped with practical skills in festival planning and development by providing theoretical and practical education, invited special lectures, and on-site consulting to residents living in the area who are interested in festivals.
The program is conducted through theoretical and practical education, on-site training, and discussion sessions based on a basic understanding of village tourism festivals, operational cases, and comparative analysis delivered by festival experts, professors from rural-related and tourism-related departments, and local culture experts.
The festival expert training course is held for residents within the jurisdiction, with all tuition fees fully waived. It will be operated from the 6th of next month until the 30th. Inquiries and applications can be made to the Yeongam-gun Culture and Tourism Division or the town and township offices.
