Hankyung Research Institute Holds Seminar on 'Prospects and Challenges of Inflation Sustainability'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The Korea Economic Research Institute under the Federation of Korean Industries announced on the 22nd that it will hold a seminar titled "Prospects and Challenges of Inflation Sustainability" on the 29th at the Diamond Room of the Conference Center in the FKI Building, Yeouido, Seoul, to explore forecasts of inflation and desirable policy responses.
At this seminar, Professor Kim Sewan of Ewha Womans University’s Department of Economics will explain "Diagnosis and Forecast of Inflation," and Jeong Gyucheol, Head of Economic Forecasting at KDI, will present on "Recent Monetary and Fiscal Policy Directions in Response to Inflation." In the subsequent panel discussion, Professor Kim Sanggyu, Distinguished Professor at Dongguk University, Professor Kim Hyunseok of Pusan National University’s Department of Economics, and Professor Heo Junyoung of Sogang University’s Department of Economics will participate as panelists.
