[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 22nd that it conducted a disaster preparedness self-simulated fire drill for waste disposal facilities.
This simulated fire drill focused on the initial fire reporter's notification and initial suppression, rapid evacuation of workers, securing emergency evacuation routes, fire reoccurrence monitoring, and recovery measures.
The city conducted actual simulated drills for worker evacuation and fire suppression, categorized by time and treatment facility.
Choi Won-woo, team leader of the Changwon Recycling Sorting Center who participated in the drill, said, "Discussing improvements together with the city during this drill was very helpful for disaster response."
