"90% of Drivers Join T map" T map Mobility Surpasses 30 Million Users
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The user base of the T map service has surpassed 30 million after 20 years since its launch. T map Mobility announced a new BI (brand identity) and declared a re-leap as a comprehensive mobility platform.
On the 21st, T map Mobility revealed that the number of customers who have experienced T map-related services such as navigation, parking, and public transportation has exceeded 30 million.
T map, launched in 2002 as 'Nate Drive,' has surpassed 30 million subscribers in 20 years. According to Statistics Korea, there were a total of 33.19 million licensed drivers in the country last year, meaning 90% of them are subscribed to T map.
Based on this, T map plans to apply the new BI starting from the 28th and develop beyond its existing navigation functions to become a comprehensive mobility platform. At the end of this month, it will add the designated driver brokerage service 'T map Anshim Daeri,' and in the second half of the year, it will introduce ▲electric vehicle charging station reservation and payment ▲parking guidance, payment, and exit services called 'T map Parking' ▲integrated kickboard service ▲public transportation guidance, among others.
