The police suspected the driver was trying to evade the crackdown, pursued the vehicle with a traffic patrol car, stopped it, and conducted an inspection.
The driver, Mr. A, continuously refused to verify his identity, but after persistent questioning by the officers, he confessed.
Upon checking his personal information, it was found that Mr. A was a major wanted person who had been caught operating an illegal sports gambling site worth 35.2 billion won in 2018 by the Daegu Police Agency and had an outstanding arrest warrant.
