Yoon Seok-yeol to Announce 'Political Participation Declaration' in Late June or Early July
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol is expected to declare his political participation as early as the end of this month or at the latest, early next month.
Lee Dong-hoon, spokesperson for former Prosecutor General Yoon, told reporters on the 15th, "We are considering a political participation declaration at the end of June or early July," adding, "The office is being reviewed including the shared office space in Yeouido, an idea proposed by the former Prosecutor General."
Lee appeared on a radio program that morning and said, "The schedules of former Prosecutor General Yoon and Representative Lee will not conflict," responding to the speculation by Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, about joining the party before August.
