Visit to Benchmark Haenam-gun Living Tourism Academy for Gangjin Puso Experience

According to the county on the 14th, from the 7th to the 11th, 34 trainees from Haenam-gun’s Lifestyle Tourism Academy visited Gangjin-gun to benchmark the Puso experience.
This visit was promoted by Haenam-gun to develop lifestyle tourism programs, where trainees operating guesthouses and pensions stayed directly at Puso farms and experienced the tourism program, gaining time to learn the operational methods of Gangjin-gun’s Puso farms.
A participant who visited Gangjin-gun said, “Although I operate a guesthouse and pension business, the new form of lifestyle tourism was unfamiliar, but it was a valuable time as the Puso farm shared operational know-how.”
Kim Young-bin, head of the Tourism Division of Gangjin-gun, stated, “In the second half of the year, we will build a reservation system through an integrated homepage and promote storytelling projects for participating farms so that the county and farms can cooperate to enhance competitiveness through content development.”

Meanwhile, as of the 11th, the Gangjin Puso Experience has attracted a total of 893 visitors, generating farm income of about 180 million won, and in the second half of the year, it is gaining high popularity in line with the small-scale tourism trend, with about 6,000 reservations.
