Tourism Public, Hosts 'Charming Sea Busan Activity Discount Festival'
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 14th that it will collaborate with local related organizations and tourism companies such as the Busan Tourism Organization and Korail Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters to hold the "Attractive Sea Busan Activity Discount Festival."
This event, held on the accommodation and activity reservation platform "Yogi-ottae" mobile app, aims to support the market expansion of local experience products developed by tourism companies including startups in the Busan area. Various experience products are prepared, such as Haeundae yacht cruises, Songjeong surfing, Gwangalli paddleboarding, and Yeongdo bicycle tours, which can be enjoyed from day to night. When purchasing products through the Yogi-ottae app, discounts of 7,000 KRW for night products and 5,000 KRW for day products are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
In this event, the "Busan Baseball Day Package," which the Korea Tourism Organization participated in developing, is also available at a discounted price. This product, which allows you to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Busan, the "baseball city," is the first product of "Byeolbada Busan," a Busan night tourism brand launched by the Korea Tourism Organization last month. It combines various options such as Saji Stadium game tickets, accommodation, KTX, and city tour buses.
Additionally, a mission-type game app set against the attractive sea of Busan draws attention. This app was developed by the converged tourism company Unique Good Company. Supported by the Korea Tourism Organization in production, this recently launched service is a detective game where players solve quizzes hidden on Gwangalli Beach according to the story. It is attractive because families, couples, and friends can enjoy a unique walk along Gwangalli Beach. It will be operated free of charge until the end of July, and 5,000 KRW discount coupons usable at the Busan souvenir shop "Yeogageoga Gwangalli" will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 400 users who complete the game.

Jo Yunmi, head of the Busan-Ulsan branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "We have prepared non-face-to-face and outdoor activities that visitors to Busan this summer can safely enjoy in line with the new travel trends after COVID-19," adding, "We will continue to discover new local travel content beyond COVID-19 through collaboration with tourism companies with fresh ideas."
