Dongseo Foods Launches Cereal Bar 'Post Protein Bar'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Dongseo Foods announced on the 14th that it will launch a new cereal bar called 'Post Protein Bar.'
This new product is made by combining various nuts, dried fruits, and chocolate into a convenient bar form that can be easily eaten anytime and anywhere. Ingredients such as peanuts, whole almonds, and cranberries harmonize to provide a savory and rich texture and flavor.
Additionally, each bar contains 14g of protein, equivalent to the amount found in two boiled eggs, allowing adults to consume about 25% of the recommended daily protein intake.
To celebrate the launch of the Post Protein Bar, Dongseo Foods plans to hold various events, including promotions through Post's official social networking services (SNS) and online live commerce.
Meanwhile, with the expansion of the convenience food market, cereal bars are gaining attention for their advantage of allowing consumers to conveniently and satisfactorily intake nutrients. According to market research firm Nielsen Korea, the domestic cereal bar market grew approximately 9.5%, from 61.7 billion KRW in 2019 to 67.6 billion KRW in 2020.
