Galaxia Metaverse Signs MOU for NFT Business with Volleyball Association and Galaxia SM
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Blockchain specialist company Galaxia Metaverse announced on the 9th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement for the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) business with the Korea Volleyball Association and Galaxia SM. Galaxia SM is the top sports marketing company in Korea and, along with Galaxia Metaverse, is an affiliate of the Hyosung Group.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Oh Han-nam, President of the Korea Volleyball Association, Shin Dong-hoon, CEO of Galaxia Metaverse, and Lee Ban-seok, CEO of Galaxia SM, among other representatives from the three parties.
Through this MOU, Galaxia Metaverse and Galaxia SM plan to design volleyball national team-related content owned by the Korea Volleyball Association as NFTs and build a trading platform. On the platform service, users will be able to meet NFTs of Korea’s top male and female national volleyball stars, including world star Kim Yeon-koung.
Shin Dong-hoon, CEO of Galaxia Metaverse, said, “With this partnership agreement with the Volleyball Association, we have taken the first step in the NFT business,” adding, “In the future, we plan to expand blockchain-based new businesses such as various NFTs and STOs (Security Token Offerings) beyond sports stars.”

Galaxia Metaverse was established on the 24th of last month as a subsidiary by fintech specialist company Galaxia Moneytree to strengthen expertise in blockchain business, and it exclusively operates blockchain-related businesses previously conducted by Galaxia Moneytree.
