View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Hyundai Heavy Industries Group 1% Sharing Foundation announced on the 7th that it has donated 110 million won to five organizations supporting multicultural and single-parent families. On this day, 61 million won was given to the Ulsan Dong-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center and the single mother communal living home 'Andante,' and earlier this month, 49 million won was delivered to the Salvation Army Doori Home in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and the multicultural family support centers in Ansan and Seongnam. The donated funds will be used for projects that help children from multicultural families live stably and support the economic independence of single mothers. The foundation was established by employees and executives agreeing to donate 1% of their salaries and has expanded its operations to all group companies since last year.
