Geochang-gun Dietary Improvement ... Promoting Garden Vegetable and Natural Diet Challenge
Worry Less About Chronic Diseases with Daily Fresh Vegetable Intake!
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is operating the ‘Home Garden Vegetables and Natural Diet Challenge’ for three weeks from the 7th to the 28th to empower individuals to manage chronic diseases through dietary improvements.
This challenge was initiated to encourage vegetarianism as the consumption of fruits and vegetables has decreased due to the widespread meat-centered diet, leading to an increase in vascular diseases such as heart disease and stroke.
Phytochemicals, a compound word combining ‘Phyto’ meaning plant and ‘Chemical’ meaning chemical, are plant-based chemicals that help promote health. About 90% of them can be consumed through vegetables and fruits that we eat daily.
To participate in the ‘Home Garden Vegetables and Natural Diet Challenge,’ join the Naver Band ‘Geochanghan Health Vessels,’ then upload photos and descriptions of home-grown vegetables from your garden and photos of natural diet meals for three weeks.
A small promotional item will be provided upon certification of more than six times per mission, and detailed information is available in the notices within the Naver Band.
