Izmedia Signs Partnership Agreement with MetaLab for NFT Design and Building Google, Amazon, Apple UI/UX
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Izmedia, which has entered new business areas, is intensifying its blockchain-based NFT (Non-Fungible Token) business.
On the 4th, Izmedia announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with MetaLab, a UI·UX (User Interface·Experience) specialized company located in Victoria, Canada, to design an NFT platform. Through this agreement, both companies will collaborate to develop the NFT ecosystem and mutually share their technologies and know-how.
MetaLab is a company that has provided UI·UX solutions to global IT companies such as Google, Amazon, and Apple. It also has a history of collaboration with Intel, Uber, Neuralink, Slack, and Facebook. Notably, it has supplied technology to Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the U.S. recently listed on the Nasdaq market, and to Dapper Labs, a major blockchain company, for the successful NFT platform 'NBA Top Shot,' earning recognition for its technological competitiveness in the blockchain UI·UX field.
Izmedia plans to build an NFT platform based on MetaLab’s technology to activate content trading domestically and internationally. Currently, active discussions are underway with domestic and overseas entertainment companies and game specialists to secure content IP (Intellectual Property) for NFT transactions.
Luke Des Cotes, Vice President of MetaLab, said, “It is meaningful to provide world-class UI·UX solutions for Izmedia’s NFT platform construction,” adding, “Through this partnership agreement, we expect to secure a dominant position in the high-growth Asian market.”
An Izmedia official stated, “Since we have signed a partnership with a global UI·UX company, the NFT business is expected to accelerate,” and added, “Based on the existing stable CCM (Compact Camera Module) inspection equipment business, we will steadily proceed with future high-growth new businesses to enhance corporate value and shareholder value.”
