Nexon and Neowiz Also Introduce Vaccine Leave Policies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Nexon and Neowiz are also introducing COVID-19 vaccination leave.
Nexon announced on the 2nd that, as vaccination efforts intensify, it will introduce vaccination leave to support employees who have been vaccinated in managing their condition and recovery.
Vaccination leave will be granted for a total of 2 days per vaccination: the day of vaccination and the following day. For two-dose vaccinations, a total of 4 days of leave can be taken.
A Nexon representative stated, "We will make greater efforts to create a safer working environment in relation to COVID-19."
Neowiz also decided to introduce vaccination leave starting from this day. All employees who have been vaccinated will be provided with a total of 3 days of paid leave, including the day of vaccination, regardless of whether they experience any side effects.
If two doses are required, a total of 6 days of paid leave can be taken. If employees have already used their personal annual leave for vaccination, those days will be fully restored.
Vaccination leave applies to all employees, including those at subsidiaries. After vaccination leave, employees will be actively encouraged to work from home for one week to ensure sufficient rest and enable a speedy recovery.
