SK Energy and Softberry Collaborate on Electric Vehicle Charging Information and Easy Payment Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] On the 2nd, SK Energy signed a business agreement with Softberry, which operates the electric vehicle charging information platform ‘EV Infra,’ to revitalize the electric vehicle charging market.
SK Energy has the largest gas station network in Korea, and EV Infra is an information-providing application used by more than 90% of domestic electric vehicle users. According to this agreement, the two companies will provide electric vehicle charging information, refine various services for electric vehicle charging customers such as easy payment and community operation, and jointly develop charging solutions.

SK Energy is focusing on building eco-friendly charging infrastructure for electric and hydrogen vehicles based on its largest infrastructure related to vehicle operation, gas stations and LPG charging stations, while also emphasizing platform business that provides integrated solutions in the energy sector. In addition to this agreement, the company stated that it is reviewing various businesses, including building platforms in line with the growth of the electric vehicle charging market. Oh Jong-hoon, CEO of SK Energy P&M CIC, said, "To accelerate the spread of electric vehicles, we will enhance user convenience and bring a new paradigm to the electric vehicle ecosystem."
