Incheon Office of Education Supports Follow-up Health Management for Cooking and Cleaning Workers
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will support post-health checkup management for workers in five job categories?cooking, facility maintenance, cleaning, and school commuting assistance?across 517 frontline schools and affiliated institutions.
For 200 institutions that have experienced industrial accidents in the past three years or have requested separate inspections, health managers and occupational health physicians will be dispatched to provide consultation related to health checkups.
Additionally, starting this month, a 'Our Company Doctor' program will be operated in partnership with the Incheon Workers' Health Center.
This program involves professional personnel such as occupational environment specialists and industrial nurses providing systematic health and safety management support. It offers health consultations after health examinations, prevention of occupational diseases, management of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, job stress prevention, and occupational environment counseling.
