View original image[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] An Kyung-duk, Minister of Employment and Labor, conducted an unannounced safety inspection at a small-scale construction site in Sejong City on the 1st.
According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Minister An participated in an unannounced patrol inspection at a new factory construction site in Sejong in the afternoon. The patrol inspection refers to safety checks carried out by organizing an inspection team to visit construction sites and other locations.
The construction site visited by Minister An was in the final stage of structural work, with formwork dismantling underway, posing a high risk of falls. During this inspection, the Ministry found 13 hazardous factors, including the absence of safety railings, and issued correction orders. Minister An stated, "Small-scale building construction sites frequently experience fall accidents and are the most dangerous," and urged, "Please pay special attention to safety management, including fall prevention measures."
