Last Week Gasoline Price 1,547.5 Won per Liter... Up 4.9 Won from Previous Week
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] According to the Korea National Oil Corporation on the 30th, the retail gasoline price at gas stations in the fourth week of May recorded 1,547.5 KRW/liter, up 4.9 KRW from the previous week.
The average price at budget gas stations was the lowest at 1,522.0 KRW/liter, while GS Caltex gas stations had the highest price at 1,555.1 KRW/liter.
The highest-priced region, Seoul, saw gasoline prices rise 4.6 KRW from the previous week to 1,630.6 KRW/liter, which is 83.2 KRW higher than the national average price. The lowest-priced region, Daegu, had gasoline prices increase 2.7 KRW from the previous week to 1,516.4 KRW/liter, 31.1 KRW lower than the national average price.
Diesel sales prices rose 4.8 KRW from the previous week to 1,344.4 KRW/liter.
