[Profile] Seo Young-hoon, Secretary for Job Planning and Coordination at the Blue House
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Seo Young-hoon, the newly appointed Secretary for Job Planning and Coordination, was born in 1971. He graduated from Yeongsaeng High School in Jeonju, majored in English Literature at Jeonju University, and earned a law degree from Korea University as well as a master's degree in Business Administration from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
He previously served as a legislative aide to a member of the National Assembly and held positions including administrative officer at the Presidential Secretariat's Job Office, administrative officer at the Policy Planning Secretariat, senior administrative officer at the Policy Coordination Secretariat of the Presidential Secretariat, and was serving as senior administrative officer at the Job Planning and Coordination Secretariat before his current appointment.
