KB Kookmin Bank Holds 'Youth Mentor KB!' Career Club Launch Ceremony
Supporting the Dreams and Hopes of Youth!
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 28th that it held the launch ceremony of the 'Youth Mentor KB!' career club, with the participation of 230 high school students nationwide.
The 'Youth Mentor KB!' career club is an experiential career mentoring program conducted by KB Kookmin Bank since 2018. This year, professional mentors from a total of eight fields, including profiler Kwon Il-yong, and career clubs from 46 high schools nationwide form teams to learn basic theories in their respective fields and experience future careers through practical training.
Additionally, through college entrance consulting by high school career teachers, participants will concretize their career paths, and at the end of the year, a performance presentation will be held to award a total of 6 million KRW in scholarships to outstanding clubs. KB Kookmin Bank signed a business agreement with the Ministry of Education in 2015 to activate the middle school free semester system and support youth career education, and has been supporting various youth mentoring projects.
