According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Cheonan branch held a committee meeting on the same day and lifted the work suspension order on the reheating furnace at the rebar plant of Hyundai Steel Dangjin Steelworks.
Earlier, on the 8th, a worker at Hyundai Steel Dangjin Steelworks was caught in a machine and died. The Ministry of Labor issued work suspension orders on the reheating furnace of No. 3 hot rolling mill in the No. 1 hot rolling plant, the accident site, and the reheating furnace at the rebar plant. The work suspension order on the No. 1 hot rolling plant has not yet been lifted.
