The 10 selected startups will represent Seoul and have the opportunity to meet investors from various fields in Dubai, the event location, to introduce their innovative technologies and services. This is the first time since COVID-19 that the Seoul Metropolitan Government is supporting domestic companies by directly participating in overseas fairs and exhibitions.
'GITEX Future Stars' is an exhibition for IT startups, which has attracted 150,000 participants from over 140 countries so far. This year, it will be held offline locally in Dubai for four days from October 17 to 20.
Seoul plans to operate a 'Seoul Startup Individual Booth' for four days at 'GITEX Future Stars' to promote innovative IT companies representing Seoul and actively arrange consultations with global investors. Additionally, at the main GITEX event, a Seoul Pavilion will be operated to introduce Korea and Seoul's investment environment as well as Seoul's investment attraction policies.
