[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Development Bank (KDB) announced on the 26th that it will support facility space for the establishment of the 'Hanam Startup Campus' to fulfill the government's innovation tasks of expanding public participation and contributing to local communities, as well as to create youth jobs and foster a startup environment in Hanam City.
KDB will provide some space (587㎡, 178 pyeong) within the newly built IT center, KDB Digital Square, free of charge to Hanam City. Hanam City plans to establish the Startup Campus (operated by Hanam Urban Corporation) in this space to attract and nurture startups related to creating a healthy city.
As part of the government's eight major innovation tasks for public institution innovation, including expanding public participation and contributing to local communities, KDB has been discussing ways to utilize the KDB Digital Square, completed in 2019, in connection with Hanam City.
