The event was attended by Kang Jeonhang, president of the Korea Elementary School Golf Federation, Seo Hoyoung, executive director of Dongkook Pharmaceutical, and other related officials. The Korea Elementary School Golf Federation was approved for establishment by the Korea Golf Association (KGA) in 2004 and has been hosting 7 to 8 elementary school golf tournaments annually to discover and nurture young golf talents. Dongkook Pharmaceutical established a relationship with the federation through sponsoring the ‘12th Park Seri Cup National Elementary School Golf Tournament’ held in November last year in Hamyang, Gyeongnam.
President Kang said, "Many professional golfers who have stood out on the world stage, such as Ko Jin-young, Park Sung-hyun, Im Sung-jae, and Kim Si-woo, are players who have participated in tournaments organized by our federation. Since the federation’s founding, we have been steadily working to discover young golf talents," adding, "We are grateful to Dongkook Pharmaceutical, which has had a great commitment to nurturing young golf talents and has continued its sponsorship since last year."
Executive Director Seo stated, "We support various youth sports organizations to encourage the dreams and challenges of young athletes," and added, "This year, in addition to financial support, we plan to provide portable first aid kits in pouch form containing emergency supplies such as Madecassol ointment, Madeca moist bandages, and Defense Bugs to help young athletes in case of emergencies during training."
