[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 24th that it has established an ‘Unmanned Entry and Exit Management System’ to provide prompt and convenient agricultural administration civil complaint services.
The county has been operating a one-stop unmanned system since 2020 in the central and eastern regions, allowing users to reserve, contract, check in/out, and settle agricultural machinery without a lessor at the Agricultural Machinery Rental Bank, aiming to enhance user convenience. This time, the installation in the southern and northern regions has been completed, and the system is now operating in four zones.
The unmanned entry and exit management system is the first of its kind nationwide and provides high-quality agricultural administrative services by offering non-face-to-face administrative services due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resolving residents’ inconveniences caused by the Agricultural Machinery Rental Bank’s closure on holidays.
In addition, the county is proactively addressing farmers’ inconveniences by improving the fee charging system for the Agricultural Machinery Rental Bank and promoting plans to activate the sharing economy in the operation of the Agricultural Machinery Rental Bank, the first nationwide.
In particular, when lessors visit the Agricultural Machinery Rental Bank site, they can control the entrance door, washing machine, lighting tower, and loading/unloading lift by themselves.
Those holding forklift licenses can use forklifts, leading the establishment of the unmanned agricultural machinery system and becoming a model for deployment nationwide among local governments.
