According to Jeonbuk National University Hospital on the 23rd, Mr. A, who was transported to the hospital due to a cerebral hemorrhage, received intensive care in the intensive care unit and was declared brain dead on the 14th. He donated his heart, lungs, and both kidneys before passing away.
The organs were transplanted to four patients with chronic diseases selected by the National Organ Transplant Management Center.
Mr. A's family stated regarding the background of the organ donation, "The deceased was a reliable husband and father who lived for his family, and we hope that the unfulfilled dreams will blossom through others."
