In the early session, foreign investors switched from buying to selling, fueling the downward trend.
As of 2:13 PM, the KOSPI is down 0.17% at 3,157.13. The KOSPI opened at 3,171.91, up 9.63 points (0.3%) from the previous day, and touched the 3,190 level. However, it soon turned downward and is showing a slight decline.
Foreign investors are net sellers with 148.2 billion KRW, and individuals are also selling 16.9 billion KRW. On the other hand, institutions are the only net buyers with 158.3 billion KRW.
Top market capitalization stocks are also showing a flat trend. Samsung Electronics remains at 80,000 KRW, up 0.63% (500 KRW) from the previous day, while Naver (1.99%), Kakao (3.08%), Hyundai Motor (2%), and Samsung SDI (0.47%) are on the rise. However, SK Hynix (-0.41%), LG Chem (-2.1%), and Samsung Biologics (-1.8%) have turned downward.

At the same time, the KOSDAQ is down 0.155 points at 969.71. The KOSDAQ also opened higher at 972.30, up 1.17 points (0.12%) from the previous trading day, but is increasing its losses. Individuals are net buyers with 105 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions are selling 86 billion KRW and 3 billion KRW, respectively.
