Gwangyang-si Opens Vaccination Reservations for Seniors Aged 60 and Over
Vaccination Pre-Booking Until June 3: Get Vaccinated on Your Preferred Date and at Your Preferred Medical Institution
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that the COVID-19 vaccination pre-registration for seniors aged 60 and over began sequentially from the 7th and will continue until June 3rd, with vaccinations scheduled from May 27th to June 19th.
Pre-registration assistance is available online (Vaccination Helper website), via call centers (Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Gwangyang City Health Center), or by visiting local town and township community centers.
Vaccinations can be received at any COVID-19 vaccination medical institution nationwide regardless of the registrant's address, so individuals can choose a more convenient or closer location for pre-registration and then receive their vaccination.
Seong Jae-sun, Director of Health Administration, stated, “We hope that seniors will participate in vaccination at nearby medical institutions on their preferred dates through pre-registration for their own health and their families' safety.”
