Jeju Air to Operate Non-Stop International Sightseeing Flights in June... Economy Class from 80,200 KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced on the 21st that it will operate international sightseeing flights without landing, allowing duty-free shopping, next month as well.
The departure airports are two locations with a total of five flights: four from Incheon and one from Busan. The Incheon departures leave Incheon International Airport at 3 PM every Saturday on the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th of next month, fly over Tsushima Island, and return to Incheon International Airport at 5 PM. The Busan departure operates one flight on the 26th of next month, departing Gimhae International Airport at 1:30 PM, flying over Tsushima Island, and arriving back at Gimhae International Airport at 2:30 PM, with an approximate duration of one hour.
Airfare is sold based on total fare including fuel surcharges and airport facility fees, starting from 149,200 KRW for New Class and 80,200 KRW for Economy Class. The New Class seats are premium seats with extra legroom and width, available only on the flights departing from Incheon on the 5th and 12th of next month, so attention is required. Tickets can be purchased on the Jeju Air website, mobile app, and web, with the lowest fares varying depending on departure time and schedule and subject to early sell-out.
To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, flights operating New Class seats sell 102 seats per flight, while flights operating only Economy Class seats sell 114 seats per flight. Additionally, advance seat selection is not available; seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at the airport counter on the day of departure.
