Ministry of SMEs and Startups Opens Applications for 'Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Win-Win Growth Commendation'
Companies Collaborating for Win-Win Cooperation Between Large and Small-Medium Enterprises Eligible
Online Applications Accepted Until the 21st of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 21st that it will accept nominations for awards recognizing companies, public institutions, and affiliated executives and employees who have achieved results through win-win cooperation between large and small-medium enterprises. The application period is until the 21st of next month.
The "Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Win-Win Growth Merit Award" is given to those who have strengthened cooperation between companies and innovated the national economy through mutual growth. It has been held since 2004 and is awarded during the "Win-Win Growth Week Ceremony" held in the first week of November every year.
The award categories are divided into two: "Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Win-Win Cooperation" and "Utilization of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) for Win-Win Growth." The Win-Win Growth Committee reviews eligibility and conducts preliminary and final evaluations to recommend award candidates. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups selects the final awardees in consultation with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This year, the Ministry plans to actively discover and award meritorious persons who contributed to "Responsible Companies" and strengthening the competitiveness of materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang). The awards include approximately 66 honors such as industrial orders and medals, Prime Minister’s commendations, and Minister of SMEs and Startups’ commendations. The final award ranks and scale will be confirmed by October after government consultations.
