Miryang-si Supports Housing Improvement for Disabled Persons... 3.8 Million Won Each for 6 Farming Households
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it will support the installation of residential convenience facilities for six households with disabilities living in rural areas within the city, with a project budget of 22.8 million KRW.
The eligible applicants are registered persons with disabilities residing in rural areas within the city, whose income in the previous year is below the average monthly income of urban worker households (approximately 7,094,000 KRW for a family of four).
Applications can be submitted through the administrative welfare centers in the applicant's town, township, or neighborhood from the 20th until June 16th. If there are many applicants, final selection will be based on criteria such as income level, degree of disability, and housing environment.
Selected applicants can receive customized support of up to 3.8 million KRW per household to improve convenience in daily life and mobility for persons with disabilities (such as repair and installation of external house entrances and ramps, bathroom renovation and repair, and installation of interior convenience facilities).
