Gyeonggi-do Inspects Safety Management Status at Railway Construction Sites in Preparation for Jangma
Five Construction Sites Including Byeollae Line Directly Managed by Province Until 25th
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province is conducting safety inspections at railway construction sites ahead of the rainy season, which raises concerns about safety accidents due to heavy rains.
According to the province on the 20th, the inspection targets are five construction sites directly managed by the province, including Byeollae Line (construction zones 3, 4, 5, and 6) and Dobongsan~Okjeong Line (construction zone 2), until the 25th.
The inspection team plans to focus on management status, identification of flood risk factors, flood prevention measures, electrical facilities at risk of flooding or electric shock, and installation of temporary facilities to prepare for strong winds.
