[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Carrot Insurance announced on the 20th that it will operate a QR enrollment program that allows customers to sign up for Pay-Per-Mile Auto Insurance at over 3,300 SK Telecom agencies nationwide through strengthened partnership with SK Telecom.
This program is a system where customers can calculate insurance premiums and enroll in Pay-Per-Mile Auto Insurance by scanning a QR code with their smartphones. It operates in the same way as the QR branches currently run by Carrot through wall advertisements and screen doors at major subway stations.
At over 3,300 SK Telecom agencies nationwide, posters for the 'Carrot Pay-Per-Mile Auto Insurance SK Telecom QR Branch' are displayed, allowing customers visiting SK Telecom agencies to enroll in insurance by scanning the QR code on the poster. Upon enrollment, customers can also receive a 30,000 KRW department store gift certificate.
