One More Infection with Unknown Transmission Route in Gwangju... 4 New Cases Reported on the 18th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] One additional COVID-19 case was confirmed overnight in Gwangju Metropolitan City.
According to Gwangju City on the 19th, one person was diagnosed positive last night and was classified as Gwangju case number 2641.
Including the previously announced 3 cases, there were 4 new confirmed cases reported the previous day.
Two cases have unknown infection routes, and two are related to a high school located in Gwangsan-gu.
The high school-related confirmed cases developed symptoms during self-quarantine or were finally confirmed positive in tests conducted before quarantine release.
In Gwangju, 9,019 people are undergoing COVID-19 testing, and 4,370 are in self-quarantine.
