Support Worth 4 Million Won Provided to 127th Brigade Sinam Socho
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Nuclear Power Headquarters held gratitude towards the soldiers of the neighboring military unit. They are another force protecting the nuclear power plant and a reliable support that also protects the local residents. During the difficult times that young soldiers are experiencing due to COVID-19, they wanted to give even a small gift.
On the 18th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Sang-min) delivered consolation goods to the soldiers of the Shinam Outpost stationed near the Saewool Headquarters.
The Saewool Headquarters prepared consolation goods worth about 4 million KRW, including treadmills and indoor bicycles, to encourage the soldiers of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces who are devoted to protecting the area around the nuclear power plant.
The gifts were prepared to help the soldiers who are restricted in their activities due to COVID-19.
Lee Sang-min, head of the Saewool Headquarters, said, “I hope this support will be of some help to the soldiers who dedicate themselves to the country,” and added, “I thank the soldiers who, despite difficult conditions, have worked hard not only to protect the nuclear power plant but also to safeguard the local residents.”
