Srinivasan Unnamara, Vice President and Head of APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) region at Kore.ai, stated this during an online video press conference on June 18 regarding entry into the Korean market.
Kore.ai is a conversational AI and digital UX technology company with 70 million customers worldwide. Its main service is a conversational AI-based digital assistant platform, aiming to lead the hyper-automation market in Korea. The company is also exploring strategic technology and business collaborations through joint ventures (JV) with various domestic solution companies.
The conversational AI-based digital assistant platform specializes in natural language processing (NLP) technology. Kore.ai’s conversational AI platform combines three NLP engines?knowledge graph, fundamental meaning, and machine learning?to provide higher accuracy with less data compared to other natural language processing technologies. It seeks to improve the experience of end users, including customers and employees, and optimize operations.
Kore.ai’s conversational AI platform incorporates no-code technology, allowing business users responsible for conversation design to easily develop digital assistants through a drag-and-drop interface on the web UI screen. It also integrates with more than 30 channels, including messengers, social media, and collaboration tools. The platform is designed for flexible integration and operation with various enterprise applications, from enterprise resource planning (ERP) to human resources (HR), as well as robotic process automation (RPA).
According to the company’s own analysis, corporate clients that have adopted the conversational AI platform reduced the cost of building customer-facing 'front office' services by more than 30%. They provided services five times faster than before, improving the Net Promoter Score (NPS), a customer satisfaction metric, by 25%.
The digital assistant solution is offered either as an on-premises system or a cloud-based subscription service model. The solutions are broadly divided into three types: ▲Search Assist ▲Smart Assist ▲HR Assist. These serve as digital assistants for knowledge asset search, AI contact centers, and HR tasks, respectively.
Srinivasan Unnamara, Vice President and Head of APJ at Kore.ai, said, "Conversational AI is one of the most effective ways for companies to increase productivity and acts as a catalyst for digital transformation. Kore.ai’s conversational AI platform is being actively adopted starting with global financial and healthcare companies, and expanding into retail and manufacturing sectors."
Lee Young-soo, Head of Kore.ai Korea, emphasized, "We believe 'Conversational AI First' will become central going forward. The most challenging aspect of general chatbots was recognizing the speaker’s intent. The excessive effort required for operation and other limitations can be resolved with conversational AI."
