[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Lifestyle platform company Min&Ji announced its Q1 2021 earnings on the 17th, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of record-breaking quarterly sales.
Based on consolidated financial statements applying the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), Min&Ji recorded Q1 sales of 49.3 billion KRW, operating profit of 8.4 billion KRW, and net profit of 7.4 billion KRW. These figures represent increases of 54.8%, 59.5%, and 37.7% respectively compared to the same period last year.
The continuous performance growth of Min&Ji reflects not only steady growth in its own business but also the rapid growth of key consolidated subsidiaries such as the tech-fin company 'SettleBank' and the probiotics specialist 'BioEleven'.
Min&Ji's integrated test-drive platform launched last year, 'TIOR (TRY IT ON THE ROAD)', recently entered the used car test-drive market including Encar.com. The company plans to offer competitive services in the innovative mobility industry sector going forward.
Min&Ji stated, "We were selected as a MyData business operator last January and are exploring new businesses with various fintech companies, focusing on business diversification into areas such as proptech and mobility."
