F&Guide Expands B2C Business Through Equity Investment in Republic K
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Financial information provider FnGuide announced on the 17th that it has signed an agreement and made an equity investment in Republic K, which provides services such as quant, newspaper broadcasting, publishing, and education to individual investors.
Republic K opened the beta service of 'Quant K' in early April, and after one month, it currently has about 37,000 members and about 13,000 people on the waiting list. Quant K uploads industry and theme screening data based on quant methods, company analysis reports focusing on small and mid-cap stocks, stock manager call contents, real-time news, and more on an ongoing basis. Additionally, after membership registration, it presents a list of stocks suitable for the investor's type confirmed through an investment propensity test.
In May, a service providing accurate and prompt investment information to individual investors through the 'Y Street' YouTube channel and internet newspaper is also scheduled to launch. This service is led by Lee Dae-ho, principal and editor-in-chief of Stock Elementary School, who serves as the host and editor, and plans to expand into publishing and education services related to investment in the future.
