According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 16th, four people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 due to local transmission between 2 PM and 6 PM on the same day, registered as cases 2621 to 2624.
Cases 2621 and 2622 are related to case 2572, who was confirmed positive on the 13th. The infection route of case 2572 has not yet been identified, and so far a total of six people related to this case have been confirmed positive. They are mainly family members.
Case 2623 is classified as related to a church in Gwangsan-gu. It is known that case 2623 had contact at an event with case 2598, who was confirmed positive the previous day and is also linked to the Gwangsan-gu church.
Case 2624 is classified as related to an entertainment establishment in the Sangmu district.
