Last year, amid the global spread of COVID-19, the schedule resumed with all participating players required to undergo COVID-19 diagnostic testing at each tournament. Additionally, the regulation prohibiting dining at external restaurants during the tournament period has been relaxed, allowing the use of fast-food outlets outside restaurants. The LPGA Tour has held nine tournaments since the season opener, the Diamond Resort Tournament, in January. To date, not a single player has tested positive for COVID-19.
