Hapcheon-gun Selected as an Excellent Institution in Public Data Provision Operation Evaluation

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 12th that it received the highest grade (Excellent) in the '2020 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation and Quality Management Level Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This evaluation is a system that comprehensively assesses the level of public data provision and operation status for 536 institutions including central government ministries, local governments, and public institutions, in accordance with the 'Act on the Provision and Activation of Public Data.'
Additionally, five areas are evaluated: public data management system, public data opening, public data utilization, public data quality, and others (points added or deducted), and the institutions are given grades such as 'Excellent,' 'Average,' or 'Insufficient.'
In this evaluation, the county received high scores in the areas of public data opening and utilization, and especially in the public data quality field, it achieved the highest score of 100 points (national average for basic local governments: 78.3 points), earning a first-grade rating.
