Recruitment for 'Cheongpyeong Club' Participants Until the 17th... Seoul Youth Lifelong Education Policy Proposal
Proposal of Youth-Friendly Lifelong Learning Policies After 6 Months of Team Research Activities, Workshops, and Discussions
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Lifelong Education Promotion Institute announced on the 9th that it will recruit participants for the youth organization ‘Cheongpyeong Club,’ which explores and proposes youth-friendly lifelong learning policies, for eight days from the 10th to the 17th.
‘Cheongpyeong Club’ is a youth organization operated since 2020, where young people take the lead in conducting a series of activities such as investigation, research, and proposals to establish the Seoul lifelong learning system and create an operational foundation, continuously developing it.
Youth crews selected for the ‘Cheongpyeong Club’ form teams based on common interest topics and propose lifelong education policies for Seoul through various research activities, deliberations, and discussions over six months.
Last year, the first ‘Cheongpyeong Club’ youth meeting was divided into three groups according to interest topics and proposed policies on youth-type lifelong learning information platforms, sustainable development global citizenship education operations, and youth-friendly lifelong learning spaces.
Entering its second term this year, the Cheongpyeong Club plans to operate as a strengthened communication organization with support from an expert support group composed of mentors who assist policy proposals and facilitators who help smooth activities.
Additionally, through cooperation with various youth and education policy proposal organizations, information and opinions will be actively shared, and the policies proposed by youth crews will be further deepened and developed to enhance effectiveness. The recruitment target for this Cheongpyeong Club is 20 youths aged 19 to 39 living in Seoul. Applications can be made individually or as teams of 3 to 5 members.
