The NH Nonghyup REITs Management employee volunteer group announced that on April 30th, they visited a farm located in Gohang-ri, Hyoja-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk Province to assist with farming tasks during the busy agricultural season. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup REITs Management Volunteer Group announced on the 3rd that they visited a farm located in Gohang-ri, Hyoja-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk Province on the 30th of last month to assist with farm work during the farming season.
On that day, about 10 executives and employees, including CEO Cheolsu Seo, supported farms struggling with labor shortages due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic by planting chili pepper seedlings and organizing the farm.
Additionally, after the work, they spent time sharing the difficulties of the residents and farmers at the Gohang-ri village hall and also delivered COVID-19 prevention supplies prepared for the elderly.
The farm owner in Gohang-ri said, “There was difficulty in planting seedlings due to labor shortages,” and expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for helping with farm work during this busy time.”
