Imsil-gun Launches Full-Scale Customized Support for Rural New Vitality Communities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 30th that a total of 111 local talents selected to promote the community-tailored support project, which is part of the Rural New Vitality Plus Project, have completed the community academy education.
The New Vitality Plus Promotion Committee (co-chairs Kim Youngmin, Deputy Governor, and Ahn Sewook, Head of the Promotion Team), which is carrying out this project, completed the Rural New Vitality Plus Community Academy education last year and will start the 1st phase of the community-tailored support project from next month.
The 1st phase of the community-tailored support project involves 11 communities signing agreements with the New Vitality Plus Promotion Team and carrying out projects at various sites within the region.
This project selects organizations that include individuals who have completed more than 150 hours of community academy education through a project competition and supports them with a project fund of 10 million KRW.
It is a catalyst project that enables the community to solve local issues independently and is the first stage of phased support projects (education → S/W support → H/W support).
The project is carried out in four fields: community, food, experiential tourism, and free market, with various initiatives such as strengthening volunteer capabilities, revitalizing traditional culture clubs, developing cheese tofu using soybeans, and local food SNS marketing.
The New Vitality Plus Promotion Committee held its 5th meeting this month to newly elect the 2nd phase Promotion Team Leader and private committee chairperson, reorganizing the promotion system.
Also, starting next month, by launching the ‘2nd phase Community Academy Education,’ they plan to steadily promote the 2nd phase community project through discovering local talents.
