US Provides 20 Million Doses of AstraZeneca Vaccine to India
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] The United States is providing emergency supplies worth $100 million (approximately 111 billion KRW) to India, where COVID-19 cases are rapidly spreading.
First, the U.S. will supply 20 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to India.
Along with this, it will also support oxygen supply equipment and personal protective equipment such as masks, which are in short supply.
Earlier, the White House announced on the 26th that "the U.S. will provide 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to other countries when it becomes available."
