The agreement ceremony held on the 27th at Handong University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation was attended by Jeong Young-hwa, Director of Pohang City Environment Bureau, and Lee Jong-seon, Director of Handong University LINC Project Group.
Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to actively cooperate in identifying local community issues in the fields of climate and environmental changes, and in carrying out various projects such as the Plastic Zero Project for resource saving, activation of upcycling, and virtuous circulation of resources.

Jeong Young-hwa, Director of the Environment Bureau, stated, "Through this agreement, we expect that students' ideas and creativity will be integrated into administration to create a win-win effect," and added, "We will build a sustainable ecosystem through improving environmental protection awareness and establishing an eco-friendly system."
