IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Wins Venture Startup Promotion Award from Korean Venture Startup Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 19th that it received the ‘Venture Startup Promotion Award’ at the ‘2021 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Venture Startup Association’ held at Seoul National University in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
The Venture Startup Promotion Award is an award given annually by the Korean Venture Startup Association since 2011 to institutions or heads of institutions that have contributed to the promotion of venture companies and the activation of startups.
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea has operated the startup incubation platform ‘IBK Changgong’ and has supported a total of 243 innovative startup companies since 2017 with financial and non-financial services such as investment, loans, and consulting. In addition, it was highly evaluated for contributing to the growth of startup companies through various forms of support by supplying a total of 330.7 billion KRW in venture capital last year.
